Privacy

This site (Emre Kızak's personal site) doesn't try to find out who you are. In short:

Visit statistics

When you open a page, your browser loads a small Cloudflare script that reports that the page was viewed. What gets recorded:

We only see these as aggregate counts (for example, "how many times the privacy page was opened this week"). We can't see individual visitors, and we can't link a visit to a person, to another visit or to another site. The only purpose is to understand how the site is used.

The service is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Because the report is an internet request, Cloudflare technically sees your IP address while the connection is made; Cloudflare states that this service does not use IP addresses to identify or track visitors. How it works: Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

If you prefer, a tracker blocker in your browser can block this script; the site keeps working fully.

Server logs

Like any web server, the server that hosts this site may keep technical access logs: IP address, time of the request, the page requested and browser information. These logs exist only to keep the site running and secure; we don't use them to identify you, build profiles or show ads.

Our apps

Each app linked from here (Wovel, nibble, The Crime Logs) has its own privacy policy, published at its own address. When you use an app, that app's policy applies.

External links

Links to other sites (such as Google Play) open in a new tab; those pages follow their own privacy rules.
